Book Review | Breath

Breath by James Nestor reaffirmed the power of breathwork — wow.

Just finished reading Breath by James Nestor, and wow—it’s reaffirmed so much about the power of breathwork and what I want to create with Breathe Again Wellness.

One of my favorite passages describes a diverse group of people gathering to explore breathwork: hippies with turquoise jewelry and granola jars alongside corporate professionals and military types. That’s the vision I have for my breathwork practice—a truly inclusive space where everyone, no matter their background or experience, feels welcome to heal, grow, and explore.

For me, it’s not about how you look, what you wear, or what technique you’ve tried before. It’s about offering a safe, non-judgmental space where breathwork helps you heal trauma, regulate your nervous system, and reclaim your health.

Nestor’s reminder that all breathwork practices, across cultures and centuries, are within us—waiting to be tapped—is so powerful. Whether you’re new to breathwork or a seasoned practitioner, there’s a technique that can help you heal, evolve, and thrive.

Let’s breathe into healing together.
