Transformer Breath can help with anxiety

Anyone feeling anxious or stressed?

Anxiety can really shake us up, can’t it? Understanding anxiety is one of the first steps toward healing. Anxiety is a message from your body, asking for care and attention, often triggered by worries about the past or future. But here’s the beautiful truth: anxiety is something we can work through, together.

One of the ways to manage anxiety is through our breath. Research shows that specific breathing techniques can work wonders in reducing stress and anxiety.

But how does that work? By gently awakening something called the vagus nerve. When we breathe deeply, it sends gentle signals to our brain and heart, inviting them to rest and unwind.

So, whenever you feel anxiety creeping in, just reconnect with your breath.

Try some deep inhales and slow exhales, which is a simple yet profound breathing exercise called “The Transformer Breath.”

The way you do it is this:

Take a deep breath in for 4 seconds.
Then, exhale slowly for 8 seconds.
Repeat, extending your exhale by 1 second each time.

And if you practice this for a few minutes every day, myself and many of my clients have found that it soothes your mind, settles your anxiety, and calms your spirit.

And here’s the best thing – regular breathwork sessions can be a beautiful assistance for long-term anxiety relief. When we work together with the breath, I will guide you to stay present, release tension and anxiety, and reconnect with your inner wisdom and strength.

So, take a deep breath, dear friend. You’re on a journey, a lifetime journey, of healing and transformation, and I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

Looking forward to breathing with you soon! Schedule here.
